[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Following its participation in the Japan Smart Logistics Expo, Wemeet Mobility expanded its local business touchpoints through ROOUTY, its AI-based logistics optimization solution.
From January 21 to 23, the company showcased the core features of ROOUTY, followed by demonstration and consultation at W19-27 booth during the Smart Logistics Expo held at Tokyo Big Sight.
ROOUTY is an AI-based logistics solution that optimizes the decision-making process for dynamic dispatch and routing by incorporating real-time traffic data and operating conditions. Its support for the dispatching and routing decision-making process, achieved by factoring in gaps caused by discrepancies between planned schedules and variables such as delivery density, driver availability, and travel time fluctuations, was brought to the fore.
Its support of decision-making process for dispatch and routes through factoring in widened gaps by mismatch between planned schedules and variables such as delivery density, driver supply and demand, and fluctuations in operating hours were brought to the fore.
Transportation operation managers at the Expo utilized real-world scenarios to demonstrate the solution. Local officials from the logistics, distribution and manufacturing sectors expressed their interest in the solution’s consistency, efficiency and data-driven management.
Inquiries regarding the practical adoption of the solution rather than its mere functionality followed, as demand for punctuality, quality control and the standardization of operational processes is high in the Japanese market. Wemeet Mobility aims to develop implementation strategies customized for local needs through in-depth market research, and promote a soft landing during the adoption phase.
It is noteworthy that the company not only introduced its solution, but also laid the groundwork for detailed partnership feasibility in both the Japanese and Asian markets. During the Expo, the company discussed customized adoption methods and follow-up evaluation processes for local distribution management features with both leads and potential technological partners.
Wemeet Mobility officials said, “Smart Logistics Expo provided an opportunity to understand global logistics innovation trend and current market demands. Based on the confirmed demand and feedback gained from the Expo, we aim to pursue implementation reviews with local partners.”
Meanwhile, the company introduced its Japan-based ROOUTY service to penetrate the Japanese market. Following the Expo, the company aims to enhance the feasibility of adopting ROOUTY in the local market in phase by continuing working level discussions, including follow-up meetings and demonstrations.
