[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Ourspot, a childcare startup based in Mapo-gu, is now broadening its reach into ‘The-H Honor Hills’.
On the 29th, Ourspot announced that it operates a pop-up lounge at the center of ‘The-H Honor Hills’ apartment complex in Gangnamgu, Seoul.
Aa part of the ‘2025 Hyundai Engineering & Construction & Seoul Startup Open Innovation’ event, Ourspot is running a proof-of-concept project outside Mapo-gu for the first time.
The pop-up store event is being held for two months, from September 17 to October 31. During this period, residents of The-H Honor Hills can enjoy a free membership trial.
Jang Jihye, and Yoon Hongseok, co-CEOs of Ourspot, said, “Running a proof-of-concept project for a new childcare infrastructure model at a residential complex, in collaboration with company, is a major step forward. Building on this expansion, we aim to provide practical support to more clients in childcare by identifying their needs and rapidly opening additional stores.”
As a childcare service for local families with young elementary school children, Ourspot offers a variety of services, including after-school activities, school and academy pick-ups, snack provision, homework assistance, vacation programs, and more.
In fact, it has collected data from over 1,600 households through the operation of its services at Seoul Yeomri Elementary School and Hanseo Elementary School in Mapo-gu.
The service is gaining attention as a solution to the inefficiencies of traditional childcare technology has developed an integrated system that enables a variety of services, such as pick-up, childcare, and homework assistance, once students’ schedules are uploaded. This innovative service has led Ourspot to be selected for Hyundai Engineering& Construction’s open innovation project.
Meanwhile, Ourspot was founded as a part of Bluepoint partners’ company-building project, a leading domestic accelerator. Since the second half of last year, it has been operating as an independent corporation.
