[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Korean Education Partners, (CEO Kwon Jae Woo) announced that it secured 600 million KRW in seed funding from Smilegate Investment and the Ulsan Creative Economy Innovation Center on the 24th.

The company is developing AI technology to support a shift in the education paradigm. As the school-age population declines and the economy grows, it aims to facilitate the transition from traditional exam-oriented education in developing countries to personalized career education seen in advanced nations.

One of its flagship services is "Hakzzong-pro," an AI-based SaaS that provides customized career education for students, aligning with the 2025 high school credit system and the 2028 college entrance reform. This service offers affordable alternatives to high-cost consulting services, providing features such as major selection tests, school record assessments, personalized topic recommendations for special activities, and research activity support tools, making it easy for local academy teachers to operate and utilize.

Korean Education Partners, a leader in the edtech sector, was founded by a team of serial entrepreneurs with experience in product commercialization and exits. The startup is engaged in R&D of various AI technologies across B2G and B2C sectors, quickly distributing essential technologies based on close communication with educational stakeholders like schools and academies. It has already established contracts with 45 branches nationwide, with over 1,300 academies subscribing to Hakzzong-pro, showcasing rapid growth.

CEO Kwon emphasized, "Education that solves problems quickly and accurately within time constraints has traditionally been covered by lecture-style teaching. Future AI technology should be applied to career education designed with personalized curricula and content for each student." He added, "We must reduce the costs of customized career education to a reasonable level. We aim to dispel the notion that career education is only accessible to the privileged and spread the understanding that quality career education leads to satisfactory college entrance results."
