Freshour Signs an MOU with Fridge Crew, Enhancing Customized Pet Care Business Solutions Across the Country

[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] ‘Barfdog’, which provides customized pet food to clients, is partnering with ‘Teepee’, a client management solution for the pet care business.


On the 22nd, Freshour announced that it had signed an MOU with Fridge Crew.

Both companies are enhancing their tailored pet care business solution nationwide, leveraging ICT pet healthcare technology. This includes, ▲developing technology that analyzes companion animals’ health using pet-based PHR big data and predicts diseases with AI, ▲ providing tailored pet food solution to 2,500 pet shops with analyzed data, ▲ and developing common products based on demand expectation while promoting global expansion.

Freshour offers ‘Barfdog’, a one-on-one tailored pet food subscription service that recommends customized pet food and provides AI-based pet healthcare diagnosis using one million pet-based PHR big data records. Currently, more than 10,000 subscribers are utilizing monthly pet-food service, with a retention rates of 86%.

The data utilized by ‘Barfdog’ includes not only information on pets’ types, ages, weight, activity levels, neutering status, walking amount, diet, and health records such as medical check-up records, illness/diseases, and allergies but also gut microbiome NGS data from five billion cases, the largest scale in the world, showcasing its expertise.

Fridge Crew operates ‘Teepee’, client management service platform for pet care center. The service offers a variety of features to pet care businesses, including reservation management, products and sale management, notifications and specialized digital Customer Relationship Management (CRM). The platform showcase its unique pet store management program by providing various CRM functions for pet daycare, pet grooming shops and pet hotels.

Freshour aims to expand its pet care service into a premium customized solution by enhancing AI-based disease anticipation model and offering tailored diets or hotel style diet through an MOU. Meanwhile, Fridge Crew seeks to grow as an all-in-one platform from pet care service to CRM that provides a range of services, from premium pet food specialized for each store, and various products.
