Stepping up to B2B SaaS that can make a good UX research culture by implementing User Spoon

[소셜밸류=윤승호 기자] DBDLab, the operator of UX research operation B2B service ‘Diby’, announced on June 14th the rebranding of Diby to ‘User Spoon’ and the launch of UPA (UX Pattern Archive) service.

Diby, the abbreviation for Do it better yourself, was a service for enhancing effectiveness of individual UX research, while User Spoon strengthens its identity as B2B SaaS and aims to create a good UX research culture in the companies that adopt it.

A ‘good UXresearch culture’, as defined by User Spoon, is an environment where research is not burdened by time and budget, so that anyone on the team can conduct research whenever they want and see the results quickly. "UPA will be a B2B SaaS that enables designers, marketers, and promoters to design research in 30 seconds and receive results in 3 hours, creating a culture where research is a given," said Jisoo Kang, CEO of DBDLab.

While operating Diby, DBDLab also conducted customer interviews to gather information on UX-related issues across the business, and launched a free UX pattern archiving service, UPA (UX Pattern Archive), including videos, as one of the solutions.

UPA is a free service from User Spoon that systematically archives UX patterns from various applications for easy reference by designers and planners, recognizing that designers use many different references when designing an application's UX.

By providing video recordings of each application's usage, rather than just capturing screenshots, UX patterns are explained in detail and accompanied by real user feedback. For example, for different UX patterns, such as onboarding, signup, search, and filters, UPA explains the UX elements that each pattern includes, along with actual user reactions to the pattern, giving the users real insights for their UX design.

In particular, UPA catches people's attention by offering a unique free service called "[sentiment analysis]". [sentiment analysis] is a tool that analyzes the sentiment of Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback, and allows designers, planners, and marketers using UPA to enter customer feedback, analyze the sentiment of the feedback, and recommend useful UX elements that can be applied to their services.

User Spoon is a research operation service for design, performance, and management of UX research and it provides the most various types of research. It has been expanding the research sector such as global research, game testing, and more.
