[소셜밸류=김완묵 기자] Seoul Startup Hub (Gongdeok), operated by Seoul Business Agency (SBA, CEO Hyun Woo Kim), a support institution that discovers and develops promising startups of Seoul, and Orangeplanet co-hosted the ‘2023 1st Hub Hour Week X Orangeplanet Review Day’ investment event. 12 startups from Seoul Startup Hub and 10 startups from Orangeplanet participated in 1:1 Private IR.
The event took place at Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok main building and Orangeplanet Gangnam Center. The objective was to cross-match the startups and partner judges of each host and let them have investment consultations.
The ‘2023 1st Hub Hour Week X Orangeplanet Review Day’ took place for 5 days to let major startup investors of Korea and promising startups have thorough meetings regarding investment.
In addition, mentorship with senior entrepreneurs and extensive networking programs also provided Judges of Daesung Private Equity, ISU Venture Capital, NVESTOR, Smilegate Investment participated in ‘Hub Hour Week’ investment evaluation.
The last day of the week, Friday (June 30th), was ‘Orangeplanet Review Day’. The content of the day was from pitching to mentorship with 6 mentors and networking with external partners of total of 6 startups, 3 startups from Seoul Startup Hub and 3 from Orangeplanet.
The 6 mentors were formed with 4 judges (Jungtae Kim of Daesung PE, Sangmin Jung of NVESTOR,and Youngmin Kim and Yujin Joe of Smilegate Investment) and 2 of Orangeplanet family company (Hyeyeon Kim, the CEO of N.thing and Han Park, the CEO of Viva Innovation).
Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok is preparing for hosting Hub Hour Weeks a year with external partners and investment related events. A number of promising startups are increasing their chance of investment attraction and getting chances of consideration of investments.
Furthermore, the resident startups of Seoul Startup Hub Gongdeok is provided with many programs including ▲ Hub Batch Program (consultation, IR reinforcement, direct investments, etc.) ▲ Office Hour ▲ Networking Support ▲ Psychological Counseling · Stress Management ▲ Seminar ▲ Workshop · Workation.
Soonbyul Yoon, Manager of SBA, stated “Seoul Startup Hub will strengthen the external investment network and let startups attract connected investment constantly with Hub Partners this year.”
