[소셜밸류=김완묵 기자] Wemeet Mobility (CEO Kang Gui-Sun), a mobility tech company, announced that it signed an MOU with a loading and unloading automation solution company, Speed Floor (CEO Hong Hyun-Jin) for improving distribution service on the Nth.
According to the MOU, both companies will cooperate as they combine the loading and unloading automation solution of Speed Floor and VRS(Vehicle Routing & Scheduling) technology so they can deliver directly to customers.
Also, they are planning on sharing relevant data generated during the distribution process and discovering more fields for cooperation.
Wemeet Mobility supplies ROOUTY, a vehicle allocation and routing optimization solution based on VRS technology, which calculates optimal allocation considering time, distance, area, etc. when multiple vehicles visit multiple stops.
Speed Floor provides a distribution loading and unloading automation solution and the solution moves the cargo loaded on the truck via conveyer belts so that only cargo enters the box of the truck and the delivery drivers do not have to load and unload cargo inside of a low truck box.
Therefore, the intensity of the job is significantly decreased and the loading of cargo becomes more convenient. The agreement is expected to maximize the efficiency of the employment of vehicles as it lowers the rate of empty vehicle operation and minimizes distribution operation costs.
CEO Kang Gui-Sun of Wemeet Mobility mentioned “The agreement will bring innovation to the shipping process, from loading orders to the last-mile by combining two solutions of both companies.”
He also highlighted “Unprecedented distribution service will launch by optimizing orders of loading cargo and passing stops with routing technology of Wemeet Mobility and optimizing the method of loading with automatic loading and unloading system of Speed Floor.” and unloading system of Speed Floor.”
