[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] VMIC (VMIC, CEO Kyohoon Nam) announced on the 13th that it has signed an MoU with Anse Accounting Corp. (CEO Yoonjong Park) to collaborate on aviation consulting and the development of new lease services.
Based on its expertise in aviation finance and aviation technology, VMIC provides various services to institutional investors, including aviation asset management, aviation asset transaction arrangement, lease management, and airline M&A consulting, and is also developing and preparing to launch new types of lease products such as engine sharing services.
As one of the 10 largest accounting firms in Korea, Anse Accounting Corp. specializes in private accounting (PA) and also has expertise in valuation and M&A due diligence.
Through the agreement, both companies will cooperate in the joint ordering and execution of aviation consulting projects such as airline M&A, and further strengthen VMIC's existing business areas such as aviation asset investment/recovery and asset management, as well as its financial/accounting expertise in the development of new lease products.
The aviation sector has many complex and specialized requirements compared to other industries, and finance/accounting requires a high level of understanding and expertise in the aviation industry.
Airlines need to manage the various costs and revenues associated with their expensive airplane assets and prepare financial statements that accurately reflect them. In addition, various factors such as airplane lease, maintenance, fuel costs, passenger and cargo revenue, etc. affect accounting.
The collaboration between VMIC and Anse Accounting Corp. aims to provide a high level of service to organizations that want to invest in the aviation industry by forming the only specialized consulting team in Korea with both aviation and financing/accounting expertise.
