[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] A customized management of children’s body temperature, the sensitive indicator for parents, has become available.
On the 13th, Connect.i has announced that it has added a ‘fever monitoring’ feature to ‘40w Later’, its own parenting application.
The core of the feature is to clearly notify parents of which types of medicine should be used and in what dosage when their children have a fever, based on the database collected from parents who have recorded which medicines were used at specific temperature on the app.
In addition, with an accumulated database of past fever events and effectiveness of medicine usage, the app helps parents identify effective antipyretics, recognize disease patterns based on fever characteristics, and pinpoint which pathogens triggering a fever are contagious.
The officials of Connect.i said, “Though children’s body temperature is a sensitive indicator for parents, many are left in the dark, unsure of what to do due to their lack of experience and data. The ‘fever monitoring’ feature, with its data-driven, customized guidelines, would help alleviate their anxiety and make caring for their children more smoother.”
Now, Connect.i, the femtech platform company leading pregnancy, childbirth and childcare fields, launched the ‘40w Later’ childcare platform app in October, 2020.
The ‘40w Later’ has so far collected 22 million data points on pregnancy, childbirth and childcare, with accumulated user base of 480,000, and established itself as a childcare platform, with approximately 50% of pregnant women across the country using it. It aims to expand into the global femtech market by extending its AI-based customized healthcare services.
