Wemeet Mobility, PoC with Lotte Global Logistics regarding vehicle allocation and routing optimization SaaS solution

[소셜밸류=김완묵 기자] On August 4th, Lotte Global Logistics announced that ‘Wemeet Mobility’ is chosen as the final participant of the ‘Open Innovation Challenge 2023’ with Busan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation.

Wemeet Mobility, a mobility tech startup selected as the final participant for the Open Innovation, is supplying digital transformation solution ROOUTY which enables a data-based distribution business and enhances the efficiency of distribution in the Last Mile distribution process by more than 20 percent.

Floatic, a distribution robot solution startup selected with Wemeet Mobility, is developing autonomous robots and a robot control platform for the automation of in/outbound shipping in e-commerce distribution centers.

Relatives mentioned that they expect the startups to create the best synergy effect as both startups are promising startups of ‘smart distribution technology’, ‘parcel delivery’, last mile innovation’, and ‘eco-friendly distribution service’ sectors that Lotte Global Logistics has been looking for.

Especially, Wemeet Mobility is planning an applying ROOUTY in operating the MFC of Lotte Global Logistics located in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do through the Open Innovation.

Currently, Lotte Global Logistics is testing the service based on Goyang MFC that gets orders of products from local small business and deliver them on the same day. By using ROOUTY, it is expected to enhance the efficiency of inbound shipping and delivery greatly. Also, with a connection with robot delivery later, it is expected to maximize the efficiency of last-mile shipping.

Furthermore, to improve the customer experience regarding delivery service operated by Lotte Global Logistics, an additional project calculating the exact estimated delivery time is scheduled to be operated.
