[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Maskit has transitioned the Daejeon City tour ticketing systems to an integrated online and mobile-based framework.
The company has integrated its proprietary mobile ticketing platform, Qless, into Daejeon City Tour service. Operated by Living International Co., Ltd, Daejeon City Tour provides five distinct routes via its tour bus service, including historical, cultural, and bread tours.
Previously, users faced the inconvenience of purchasing tickets by visiting on-site ticket booths before boarding the Daejeon City Tour at Daejeon Station or City Hall Station. Now, all users need to do is purchase mobile tickets through Qless and present their QR codes for scanning upon boarding via Kakao.
Mobile tickets provided by Qless eliminate the need for app downloads or printed tickets. Furthermore, the system remains fully operational even in areas with poor internet connectivity, ensuring a stable online ticketing.
The platform has broadened its scope across diverse sectors since its initial introduction in the concert and exhibition ticketing field. Last year, Maskit integrated its technology into maritime boarding processes through a partnership with Ulsan Port Authority. The Daejeon city Tour now marks the first instance of applying this same technology to tour bus ticketing.
Building on this achievement, the company is now expanding its reach into the Free Independent Traveler (FIT) market. By enabling online ticketing for city tours that previously centered on group bookings, international individual travelers can now also enjoy the service through direct reservations.
Maskit aims to integrate its Qless platform with diverse tour contents, including specialized docent programs for international visitors. The company explained that Qless serves as an ideal platform for Fit travelers, as it provides comprehensive multilingual support as well as mobile ticketing via Kakao.
Bae Ho-yeon, the CEO of Maskit, noted, “The core objective of this partnership is to remove the hassle for customers to wait in line before boarding the Daejeon City Tour bus. As the platform is proven to be applicable beyond the concert ticketing sector, it plans to expand the application of its technology to a wider range of regional tourism content.”
Qless is an all-in-one mobile ticketing SaaS that integrates reservation, issuance, validation, and CRM into a single platform. It enables the immediate reservation deployment with zero lead time for system implementation.
