[소셜밸류=김완묵 기자] Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu·Chang-dong operated by Seoul Business Agency, a SMEs support organization generating global competition through the scale-up of Seoul Startups, is  recruiting promising startups to participate in the Open Innovation program with DL E&C until July 25th. 

 

DL E&C, promoting the Open Innovation program with Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu·Chang-dong, is an affiliated company of DL group in the construction field. It is looking for an opportunity for ESG management, digital realization, and expansion of new business in collaboration with startups in housing, civil engineering, and plant sector with high potential.

 

The startups selected in the Open Innovation program can receive various support advantages not only PoC opportunity with DL E&C, but also commercialization support fund (10 million KRW, approx. $7,650 per startup), access to co-working/resident office area of Seoul Startup Hub Seongsu·Chang-dong, Demo day participation for  investment attraction, and more.

 

The Open Innovation recruits the 4 following sectors: ▲Construction Site Needs Solution ▲Digital Transformation ▲Eco-friendly Decarbonization ▲New Business Model Any startups with business models in these sectors can apply.

 

In detail, the desired technologies for each sector are the following:

△ Construction Site Needs Solution - design/construction/quality/safety 

△  Digital Transformation - AI, big data, AR/VR, IoT, Blockchain, Design Automation, and Modular Housing 

△ Eco-Friendly Decarbonization - carbon neutrality, CCUS and hydrogen·ammonia production and utilization, Small Modular Reactor and connected technology, and fuel transformation 

△ New Business Model – new business/new technology that can connect to the construction business

 

Startups willing to participate apply to Startup Plus by July 25th. Executives and staff members of DL E&C will be in charge of the evaluation. The final selection will be announced individually in mid-August.
