[소셜밸류=김하임 기자] Bosalpim(CEO Jang Hansol) announced on the 7th that it filed a petition to make July 1st the National Caregivers Day through ‘Care Partner’, which helps caregivers to find jobs, to improve caregivers’ awareness and working conditions.

As the Korean caregivers association has been celebrating July 1st as ‘Caregivers Day’ since 2009, the attempt is another step forward to improve the social status, rights, and interests of caregivers by declaring the day as ‘National Caregivers Day’

Bosalpim collected signatures from more than 2,000 caregivers who requested establishing the ‘National Caregivers Day’ on July 1st, 2023. In the same month, it filed the petition based on the signatures.

The petition passed the deliberation committee and is under review for public opinion from January 26th to February 26th. Then, the final research and deliberation will be conducted to announce the final result for the ‘National Caregivers Day’ petition.

Anyone can read and leave comments to petitions regarding the ‘National Caregivers Day’ on the Korean petition website, Cheongwon24. Lots of caregivers are paying attention to the issue and participating in the petition. This petition is expected to be a great help for the improvement of the caregivers’ working conditions and awareness towards them.

Mr. Jang mentioned, “Caregivers are not appreciated enough despite their important roles in our society. This petition will be helpful for a better work environment and social awareness for them.”

Bosalpim will continue to lead the improvement of awareness and working conditions of caregivers through various activities. The plan is to boost the rights and interests of caregivers through diverse activities including services and business elevation.
