[소셜밸류=소민영 기자] Personal information protection specialist company O.Ne People(CEO Ah Young Cho) announced on the 21st being selected in the ‘Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project(DIPS 1000+)’ hosted by Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

 

‘Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project’ is the program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups to raise deep tech startups that have outstanding technology to enter the global market in the new industries and can lead the future of the national economy. For three years, the selected companies will be provided with grants for commercialization and R&D up to 1.1 billion KRW (approx. 804,450 USD) and even get supports such as policy funds, warranty, and exports in connection with the program.

 

 

O.Ne People is the company advancing personal information protection technology, and it is selected as Super Gap Startup in cyber security/network sector.

Based on Privacy-Enhancing Technology (PET) and data processing technology capabilities in all stages of the personal information life cycle from collection to destruction, the company plans to focus on upgrading the technology required for the cloud-based Catchsecu service operated by O.NE People. In particular, the company expects to provide a personal information protection system to companies that lack or have no personal information protection officers through the advancement of PET technology.

"Through the Super Gap Startup Project, we will globalize and continuously advance our AI-based privacy protection system to identify the processing status of personal information collected and managed by companies and prepare for the risk of privacy-related regulatory violations," said Ah Young Cho, the CEO of O.Ne People.

Meanwhile, O.Ne People was designated as a "2023 Excellent Information Protection Technology (Service)" by the Ministry of Science and ICT in June last year, and in December of the same year, the company received a "T-3 rating" in the technology rating evaluation (TCB) run by NICE DnB.
