[소셜밸류=소민영 기자] Mobility solution company Wemeet Mobility (CEO Kang Guisun) is cooperating with Korea Electronics Association (KEA) for demonstration connected to fulfillment shipping routing service.

The gist of this cooperation is the construction of digital distribution infrastructure declared by the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE). The goal is to arrange the base to foster distribution innovative companies and improve customer experience and competitiveness of distribution by digitalizing the entire process.
KEA is operating a pilot fulfillment arrangement project of digital distribution infrastructure construction project. It supports setting up the standard model of open fulfillment type distribution center, which is able to make local small·medium distribution with new technologies such as big data and IoT online and deal with the distribution of low volume high diversity products
Along with it, Wemeet mobility is planning the demonstration of shipment routing service to optimize the shipping process of the fulfilment. Using VRS(Vehicle Routing & Scheduling) technology of Wemeet mobility, it is able to allocate duties for the vehicle and calculate the best route, considering dynamic traffic, availability of driver and vehicle, and demand of customers.

CEO Kang of Wemeet Mobility said, “We are pleased to be a part of this meaningful project which is planned for building the local-based economy ecosystem aimed for small · medium distributors and distribution centers.” He also mentioned, “We will try our best to contribute in digitalizing fulfilment-applied local-based omni-channel distribution with our technology.”

Meanwhile, from 2021, the pilot design for hollowing out the fulfilment of small · medium distribution centers of Pohang, Bucheon, and Chang-won has begun, and the Pohang center is constructed last December.
