[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Equal Table Inc. (CEO: Mun Jun-suk), a company specializing in low-carbon coffee solutions, announced on the 3rd that it has recently received the "venture enterprise certification" from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, following its certification as a social venture enterprise.

'Neil Coffee,' the service operated by Equal Table, provides customers with coffee beans that incorporate their original carbon reduction processes, including carbon-neutral certified farm coffee and eco-friendly roasting. Additionally, the service offers data on carbon reduction contributions to its clients. Currently, large corporations such as Walkerhill Hotel, SK Telecom, Samsung SDS, and Kakao Games, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, are using this service.

Equal Table, which has received the 'venture investment' certification from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, has been recognized for successfully attracting a certain level of investment based on its technological innovation and business growth potential. With this venture enterprise certification, Equal Table is now eligible for various government supports and benefits, including corporate tax reductions, exemption from acquisition tax, preferential treatment in government project selections, and access to policy funds.

Mun Jun-suk, the CEO of Equal Table, stated, "We are currently developing a web service that will allow anyone, not just companies, to easily measure the carbon emissions of coffee. We plan to launch it soon. We will continue to expand to make low-carbon coffee accessible and usable for both businesses and individuals."
