Wemeet Mobility-Mapers signed an MOU for co-development of Dynamic Distribution System

[소셜밸류=소민영 기자] Wemeet Mobility (CEO Kang Guisun) stated on the 8th that they signed a strategic MOU for the co-development of a dynamic distribution system with Mapers (CEO Kim Myung-Jun), a mobility map solution company.

Both companies are expecting co-development and commercialization of the dynamic distribution system through this MOU. They will share information regarding the dynamic distribution system, give the support needed for the co-development, and discuss the measure of cooperation before putting it into practice. The shared information will be map data and platform service experience of Mapers and dynamic routing, VRS (Vehicle Routing & Scheduling), real-time tracking, etc. of Wemeet Mobility

Wemeet Mobility is the supplier of ROOUTY, a SaaS solution that allocates and automatizes route plans of distribution based on VRS technology. ROOUTY stands out by decreasing travel distance and the number of the allocated vehicles as it supplements the existing routing technology of TMS, which merely lines up the vehicles based on the linear distance of the location.

Mapers provides ATLAN Navigation Software, based on their digital map, to vehicles to domestic and international cars. Recently, they have been providing ATLAN TRUK Navigation service with data specialized for mid/large-sized trucks.

Dynamic distribution system, based on VRS technology, is capable of real-time optimization and scheduling of shipping, reflecting the dynamic traffic that changes constantly, road condition, availability of vehicles or drivers, demand of customers, and so on.

CEO Kang of Wemeet Mobility stated, “We decided to cooperate with Mapers for co-development of the dynamic distribution system while trying to come up with a solution for complex vehicle allocation with technology based on map data.” He also mentioned, “We expect to economize and make distribution more efficient by actively being involved in company vehicles through acquiring diverse data of distribution and shipping, which were considered exclusive fields.”
