[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Sakak, a hyper-personalization AI company (CEO Bae Geon-gyu), has strengthened its position as a global AI company by being selected as one of the Top 20 in the prestigious 4YFN Awards, a startup competition took place at MWC 2025.

The 4YFN (4 Years From Now) Awards aim to discover companies with technologies that have the potential to change the future, selecting the most innovative startups from around the world.

Sakak won an award in the ‘Digital Horizons’ category, which honors companies transforming traditional industries and markets with cutting-edge technology. As a Top 20 selection, Sakak will receive grant, an exclusive exhibition booth, an opportunity to present on stage, and access to network with over 1,000 global companies.

Sakak's ‘CANDiY AI’ solution enables hyper-personalization AI services to be used in on-device environments such as smartphones, vehicles, and laptops.

Existing cloud-based AI services struggled to implement solutions using sensitive customer information or corporate confidential data. However, the ‘CANDiY AI’ solution uses a self-developed algorithm to safely learn data on an individual’s on-device device and implement hyper-personalization AI services. The solution can also improve performance continuously by sharing AI models among users with similar profiles.

This allows hyper-personalized AI services to be created using sensitive data that was previously difficult to handle, positioning the solution as a proactive response to global AI regulations focused on data privacy.

Sakak's ‘CANDiY AI’ has already accomplished commercialization in the domestic mobility and healthcare sectors and is currently preparing for PoC (Proof of Concept) with multinational mobility and energy companies in Europe. In particular, former Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende visited Sakak in September to test out the AI technology firsthand and discuss potential business collaborations, signaling a clear path for Sakak's entry into the European market.

Since its establishment, Sakak has been preparing for global expansion based on its AI technology. The company has received the MyData Operator Award from MyData Global in Finland and signed an MOU with Inrupt, a Personal Data Storage company founded by Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of the World Wide Web, gaining early recognition in the global market for its technological expertise.

The CEO stated, "The award helped us get the recognition as an AI deep-tech company not just in Korea but globally," and added, "MWC 2025 will be a stepping stone for us to become a leading company in hyper-personalized AI agents as we prepare for full-scale global services in 2025."

Sakak will operate dual booths at the MWC 2025 Awards Zone (Hall 8.0) and the Korea Pavilion, supported by the Korea International Trade Association(KITA), from March 3 to 6 next year. The selection will also provide the company with opportunities to participate in IR pitching and global networking sessions, enabling the company to push forward with practical collaboration efforts for market entry in Europe.
