[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Korea Education Partners (CEO Kwon Ki Won, Kwon Jae Woo) and Gamjauhak (CEO Min Jun Ki) announced on the 8th that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on an AI-based study abroad education business.

Korea Education Partners, which operates the AI-based personalized career education SaaS, Hakzzongpro, plans to jointly develop AI consulting technology to enhance the accessibility of study abroad programs, leveraging Gamjauhak’s expertise in study abroad content and counseling. They also plan to host joint information sessions nationwide through a network of 1,300 affiliated academies and 25 branches.

Gamjauhak, which operates the largest number of study abroad centers in Korea, is a study abroad specialist brand under MKIC, a 30-year-old education group. The company has veteran consultants with an average of over 18 years of experience in the study abroad industry, as well as local representatives from 12 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Malta, and the Philippines, offering a variety of study abroad programs.

Through this MOU, the two companies expect to expand students' choices by incorporating global options, allowing them to create personalized academic roadmaps based on their interests and career goals.

Kwon Jae Woo, CEO of Korea Education Partners, stated, "As of 2023, the percentage of students who experienced an average grade improvement of two or more levels from their first semester to their third semester in high school was 2.9%. I always feel regret when I can't offer solutions to the concerns of 3rd-year parents and teachers at information sessions, where the options have been significantly reduced."

He added, "These days, when we present study abroad as an option, we feel that there is significant demand and market potential. With Gamjauhak, which operates the most study abroad centers in Korea, and Korea Education Partners, which has already achieved meaningful results in the domestic admissions market with AI consulting technology, this MOU marks our first step into the global education market."

Gong Jun Hoon, Director of MKIC Gamjauhak, said, "Even students with grades ranging from 3rd to 9th level in school grades can still pursue their dream of attending prestigious overseas universities with promising majors. Expanding options beyond the narrow scope of domestic universities and considering overseas universities will be the best preparation for your child's future."

He added, "Gamjauhak will work with Korea Education Partners to provide diverse study abroad opportunities and information for overseas universities."
