Inabooth Launches Partnership with Sanrio’s ‘Charaforio’, Providing Intellectual Property Support to Japanese Startups Seeking to Enter the Korean Market

[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Inabooth has joined hands with Sanrio, Japan’s leading character industry company.
On the 16th, Inabooth announced that it has launched partnership project with ‘Charaforio’, assisting Japanese startups with Intellectual property that aims to enter the Korean Market.
‘Charaforio’ is a platform operated by Sanrio that features several characters, such as Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll, that connect characters and fans. The platform aims to help creators expose themselves to the public, provide them with opportunities, and create new forms of entertainment.
The partnership is an event-based project targeting Japanese startups with Intellectual property wishing to expand into the Korean market. The goal is to provide practical opportunities to creators and to expand Intellectual Property market connections between Korea and Japan.
Participants receive various forms of supports, including ▲ full funding for merchandise production, ▲ listing on Korean online stores along with promotional activities, and ▲ royalty disbursement. The application period is still open, and the final assessment result will be announced on the 30th.
The project may serve as a foundation for creators to showcase their work on a global stage. Participants are expected to quickly gain traction in the Korean market and generate sales.
Inabooth stated, “The partnership with Charaforio will play a critical role in laying the groundwork for creators to achieve results. We will continue collaborating with various global IP companies to provide an improved experience to both creators and consumers”.
Meanwhile, Inabooth has been operating an online platform that supports character IP licensing and partnership, serving as a bridge connecting creators and companies.
