[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] Geogrid garnered attention at the World Summit Awards 2025 by winning in the Smart Settlement and Urbanization category for ‘BLOS’, its smart water management system.

BLOS (Building Oasis) is a smart water management system that provides integrated management of water infrastructures issues such as aged pipes, rusty water, scale, slime and bacteria, starting right at the building’s main intake. Its objectives go far beyond managing a building’s water usage based on a database; they are to secure water quality, optimize maintenance, reduce carbon emissions, and increase asset value.

The World Summit Awards (WSA) is a digital awards platform affiliated with the World Summit on the Information Society, discovering innovative cases committed to reaching the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The WSA acknowledged Geogrid as a solution provider that delivers streamlined building management and safety while bolstering sustainability. The firm earned top ratings for achieving both SDG values and innovative urban infrastructure.

As a WSA winner, Geogrid will participated in the WSA Global congress, which will be held in Vienna, Austria, from the 19th to the 22nd. At this international event, where WSA winners and innovators from around the world gather, Geogrid is expected to introduce its BLOS technology and its vision for urban-scale smart water infrastructure.
