[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] A social gathering for people with disabilities aged 20 to 40 will be held in celebration of a romantic White Day.

Heartlink announced that an offline social gathering event for people with disabilities will be held on March 14th. The event is timed for White Day, with a focus on providing opportunities to meet new friends or find romantic partners.

The event will be held at Front1, located right in front of Gongdeok station, from 2PM to 4PM. Participants’ identities will be verified to ensure a safe gathering.

The event program consists of ▲ self-introductions, ▲ small talk based on age groups or shared interest, ▲ icebreaker games, and ▲ connecting participants with one another as new friends or romantic partners.

The idea behind the program is to offer a safe and comfortable environment for genuine connection, recognizing that people with disabilities often struggle to naturally form a new relationship in their daily lives.

Kim Min-ji, the CEO of Sinor which operates Heartlink, stated, “Although people with disabilities share the same desire to form new relationships as anyone else, a lack of social opportunities often fails to provide them with equal chances. Therefore, we aim to use this event to provide an opportunity where participants can understand one another and form meaningful relationships without any prejudices.”

Applications for the social gathering can be submitted through Heartlink’s official website. For more details, inquiries can be made through its Kakao service.

Meanwhile, Heartlink is a social meeting platform exclusively for people with disabilities, jointly operated by Sinor and the Korea Green Foundation. The event is sponsored by the Support Center for Students with disabilities at Korea Open Cyber University.
