Streaming House and Kanzashi, Participated in 2025 Expo Osaka, Kansai, Hosting Workation Showcase

[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] On the 20th, Streaming House announced that it hosted a workation showcase with Kanzashi at 2025 Expo Osaka, Kansai.


Streaming House, the operator of the workation brand ‘The Hyuil’, signed an MOU last March to promote B2B/B2G workation project in Japan.

Kanzashi is a subsidiary of the Airtory Group, the renowned online travel agency, that promotes regional cooperation initiatives with local governments. It made its effort to ensure the success of its B2B/B2G workation project in Japan by inviting various stakeholders including local governments, hotels, and entrepreneurs, and conducting co-marketing activities with employees from both the headquarters in Tokyo and Osaka branch.

Both companies aim to hold a Korea workation FAM tour from September 10th to 12th, targeting local governments and companies from Japan that expressed interest in the project during the showcase. They plan to build various networks by sharing B2B/B2G workation project model actively offered in Korea and promoting workation opportunities between two countries.

Shin Donghoon, the CEO of Streaming House said, “With the support of the Korean Tourism Organization, we were given the opportunity to participate in 2025 Expo Osaka, Kansai, and were able to host a showcase for the Japan workation project alongside Kanzashi. The showcase appears to have been successful in introducing the project, as many clients from Japan have made inquiries about adopting workation.”

Akiyama Masahide, the CEO of Kanzashi, said, “We are convinced that the project will pave the way for a new model in the domestic workation market. A partnership between Streaming House, which has been successfully offering the project in Korea, and Kanzashi, with its extensive networks and expertise in travel project in Japan, would create synergy.”

The CEO also added, “As this year marks 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Japan, we hope the workation serve as a new Kanzashi (it means a traditional hairpin, symbolizing connection) that goes beyond beyond trade and tourism between two countries.”
