[소셜밸류=박완규 기자] LBB announced that 20 dermatologists from Brazil visited its spa to directly experience the reputation and competitiveness of K-Beauty.

The dermatologists, who came to Korea to participate in the Korea Derma event held at COEX Magok on October 31, visited LBB Spa, plastic surgery clinics, and Olive Young to explore the product’s ingredients, effectiveness and global clinical data.

LBB spa, once known for providing services to Hollywood actresses Jessica Alba and Anya Taylor-Joy, gained renewed attention when dermatologists from Brazil visited.

The dermatologists also expressed interests in the skin-booster program operated by well-known Korean plastic surgery clinic. They observed the process of pre- and post-procedure photography, skin analysis and simulation using the Morpheus 3D scanner, and were impressed with the precision of the AI-based diagnostic system.

Dermatologist Natasha Figueiredo visited Olive Young N Seoungsu to explore various products. After trying out range of items firsthand, from color cosmetics to functional skincare, he purchased several items, thoroughly examining the levels of active ingredients such as retinol and madecassoside.

As a flagship store, Olive Young N Seongsu provides an improved service such as ‘Skin Fit Studio’. It offers participating customers with the opportunity to experience the effectiveness of products firsthand through one-on-one curation, diagnostic and consultation services using measuring devices, and a facial care program conducted by a professional therapist.

In particular, Olive Young offered the ‘Professional 3-Step LBB SPA Program’ for the first time, receiving positive feedback. Now, the program is in such high demand that reservations are filled immediately upon opening.

Natasha Figueiredo said, “The Korean cosmetic items are designed in precision from ingredients, formulation and user experience. I found the integration of a customer-oriented retail approach with a professional skincare experience impressive.”

Through their visit, it once again demonstrated the global standing of the Korean beauty and cosmetics industry, laying the groundwork for the continued global expansion of ‘Cosmetic Hallyu’.

Lee Soojin, the CEO of LBB, said, “We have been receiving partnership requests for our aesthetic franchise from countries around the world including Dubai, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Thailand. We focus on introducing Korean beauty care technology to the world while expanding globally.”

Meanwhile, LBB is a beauty brands launched from ‘La Boutique Bleue’, a professionalskincare company that introduced Swiss Perfection to Korea in 2000 and has since become a global brand in the cosmetics and spa field.
